Virgin River is one of the most popular shows on Netflix. The romantic drama, that actually is giving off even soap opera vibes, seems to keep all the fans invested since the day of release up until today.

Season five was released in two parts, with the first one being full of dramatic events, and the second two-episode part being a fun watch with Christmassy atmosphere all over it.

However, this second part of the season gave us many explanations, like who Mel’s father is, and finally the fans saw Charmaie giving birth to her twin babies.

Still, the show has many cliffhangers left, and the fans are waiting for season 6 to give them at least some answers.

For now, there’s no official release date, but an Instagram story of one of the main stars of the show, Alexandra Breckenridge (yes, our favorite Mel), it was revealed that the filming of the new season is about to start in a couple of weeks.

In her story she was telling her followers that she has to pack for three months and she is absolutely confused and doesnt know what to take with her. She mentioned that it happens every season and is actually quite annoying.

However, what the fans heard was only the fact that there are 16 days left until she leaves to start filming, and they couldn’t be happier to hear such big news.

Reddit was immediately filled with fans trying to read the clues the actress gave them on her Instagram.

Now that we know the show is coming out this year, it’s time to binge watch all the seasons. Virgin River seasons 1 through 5 are available to stream on Netflix.
