Hi Jamie! What can you tell us about your Casualty character, Patrick?

He’s a trauma surgeon by trade, but I think he’s got to that stage in life where the 12-hour operations are a young man’s game! Which is why he’s made the move into being clinical lead in the ED. He’s quite old-school and practical – he’s intent on working with the funding he has to get the job done. But sometimes that might mean pushing people a little too hard.

When we pick up this week, Patrick’s been in the job a little while. How’s it going for him?

He’s very much in control; I don’t think anyone’s in any doubt that he’s the boss! He takes to it pretty quickly.

Surely he’ll clash with Dylan at some point, everyone does!
