Okay, so Donnie Wahlberg didn’t end up being the Rabbit on The Masked Singer. But he will be starring on a new show very soon! The Blue Bloods actor is set to host a series called Very Scary People—and if the tense scenes on Donnie’s CBS police procedural make you nervous, his new gig will definitely get your heart pounding.
The HLN drama is a six-episode series that “chronicles the twisted lives of some of the most frightening, diabolical characters in recent history,” according to CNN. “These biographies trace the crimes and evil deeds of bad people who were successful at eluding detection for quite a while and how they were ultimately caught.”
Yikes—sounds very scary, indeed. If dark dramatizations are your thing, you won’t have to wait long to watch. Broadcasting Cable reports the two-hour program will premiere on Sunday, March 17, and will showcase John Wayne Gacy. The outlet also notes Charles Manson will be featured on the March 24 episode, subsequently followed by Aileen Wuornos and Rev. Jim Jones.
If you really can’t wait until the St. Patrick’s Day air-date, there’s a way to tune in even earlier. HLN subscribers will be able to view the first episode on Friday, March 8.
For the die-hard Danny Reagan fans, you can all breathe a sigh of relief. Donnie is likely not leaving the Reagan family dinners anytime soon. The 49-year-old, who’s also preparing to go on tour with his boy band, New Kids on the Block, apparently likes to stay very busy! Hey, as long as we get to see more Donnie, we’re definitely not complaining.
