EastEnders killers unite as Ravi Gulati does Nish Panesar’s dirty work

Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) is to have a change of heart in EastEnders next week as he decides to team up with evil dad Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry).

Viewers of the BBC One soap got a huge shock earlier this week when the businessman returned to Walford to hand ex-wife Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) their divorce documents after receiving two copies.

It soon became clear that there was a more pressing reason for his arrival, and when he wormed into No. 41 with granddaughter Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James), he revealed he was dying.

Knowing exactly what he was capable of, the family struggled to believe the claim, and it was only when he was hospitalised that they realised that, for once, he was telling the truth.

In a further twist, after they denied a chance for him to play a part in their lives moving forward, he decided to play dirty and sell off the Bridge Street Café to former owner Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth) – for a quid.

Suki was blindsided by the revelation and stormed over to him, only for him to reveal that he’d rewritten his will and everything would be left to the Gurdwara.

Ravi stood firm against his decision to stop the kids from seeing Nish, but later changed his mind and visited him in hospital with Nugget Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) and Avani.

The three arrived back in Albert Square and Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) assumed he was sucking up to their dad to claim back his inheritance, but was quickly talked around into giving him another chance.

However, it later transpired that Vinny’s forgiveness was part of a bigger plan to get their names back on his last will and testament and claim what is rightfully theirs.

In upcoming scenes, Ravi becomes suspicious of Vinny’s sincerity and voices his concerns to Nish, who asks him to do some digging.
