VIRGIN RIVER season 3 is on its way. But could it feature a revelation about a potential relationship between Charmaine and Brady?

Virgin River season three has been announced by Netflix as fans wait to find out what will happen next with Charmaine Roberts (played by Lauren Hammersley) and Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson). As fans will know, the pair are currently expecting twins in the show. However, many fans are convinced she might actually have been having an affair with Jack’s former war buddy Dan Brady (Ben Hollingsworth) – here’s why this is.

Was Charmaine having an affair with Brady in Virgin River?

The latest season of Virgin River featured some huge revelations for Charmaine.

Not only did she find out she was suffering from hyperemesis but she also discovered she was having twins with Jack.

Over the course of the season, viewers followed along as things got more complicated for the mum-to-be.

This was especially the case as she struggled with her feelings for Jack being unrequited while he pursued a romance with Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge).

However, some fans think there may actually be more going on with Charmaine’s story than has been revealed so far.

One major theory suggests she might have also had a romantic relationship with another of the small town’s residents.

This is because of an unresolved plot point from season one of the series.

Fans will remember in episode six, the residents of the small town went to a dance called a mingle.

Jack and Charmaine arrived together as they were dating at this point with the bar owner driving her to the event.

However, they fell out and did not leave together, which has left some wondering what happened to her after this.

Posting on Reddit, fan Low_Razzmatazz_7023 wrote: “How does Charmaine get home from the mingle in season one?

“She arrived with Jack, but obviously didn’t leave with him.

“She was prominently on camera when Mel and Joey left. I always look for subtle clues in a storyline.”

Many other fans had some theories about what exactly went down after the dance.

Redditor colly456 replied: “WELL. Excellent question. Theories abound that it was via Brady.

“Although, he was pretty drunk so would he have driven? Is it ever explained where he stays while in Virgin River?”

While Beckinny speculated: “I really think/hope she and Brady left together, both in a fit of anger/bitterness towards Jack.

“Charmaine, angry and jealous, not in her right mind, thinking sleeping with Brady will somehow ‘get back at Jack.”

“Brady, so drunk and horny, he just wanted to sleep with anyone. Both being p*****d at Jack, they drunkenly and emotionally left together.”

A third named ListenerAlways also pointed out she would have had to stay somewhere as she would not have been able to walk home because she lives in another town.

They added: “She lived in Clear River, which would have been too far away and not in the same town as the mingle.”

This theory has also led some fans to believe Brady may be the father of Charmaine’s babies.

If this was true, it might resolve one of the biggest barriers to Mel and Jack being together in the Netflix drama.

Whatever the case, it seems like season three could be the most dramatic outing of Virgin River so far.
