Law & Order: SVU stars Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni have been trolling fans with a behind-the-scenes steamy kiss picture.
For the last decade (give or take) the pair, who play Captain Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler, have acted alongside each other on the show and so have built plenty of onscreen chemistry together, something which fans love.
Talking of the fans, it all started with a tweet where a fan posted a “what if” scenario, and Hargitay and Meloni have played along perfectly.

The tweet read: “Can y’all imagine if one day @Chris_Meloni and @Mariska posts a picture like this pretending they are kissing with the caption #Rehearsing. It would be the end of us and the end of the internet.”
So, Christopher delivered and posted a picture showing the pair looking like they were a second away from a steamy snog, and no doubt much to the fans’ delight captioned it, “#rehearsing what @Mariska ?”
The pair previously opened up to People about the close bond they have.
“There was so much shorthand between us, which all goes back to the trust we have,” Hargitay said. “He’s always made me feel like I could just jump off the ledge, the cliff, the bridge, and he would catch me, in so many ways, whether it was comedy or acting or friendship.”
“It’s simple,” Meloni added. “We have each other’s back.”
Elsewhere, the show has addressed star Mariska Hargitay’s recent injury when she broke her right ankle and said she won’t be hobbling around on crutches in upcoming episodes.
“[The injury] will be addressed in the season premiere,” they told TVLine.
