EastEnders‘ Teddy Mitchell and Sharon Watts are set to grow closer in upcoming scenes.

Teddy has had his sights on Sharon ever since he arrived in Walford earlier this year, though Sharon has declined his offers to go out on dates despite the pair appearing to share a connection.

However, in scenes airing on the BBC One soap next week, Teddy begins to make another play for Sharon.

Teddy tries to impress Sharon by helping Kathy with Suki and Eve’s engagement party plans at the last minute, before once again asking her out on a date.

Although Sharon initially declines his invitation, she later considers changing her tune after some gentle encouragement from Kathy.

Later on, Harry puts his foot in it during a conversation with Sharon and Teddy, so he decides to put things right by arranging a date between them both at The Arches.

Teddy condemns Harry for being deceptive, though Sharon had already caught on to the plans and decides to attend anyway, much to Teddy’s surprise.

But when Sharon asks Teddy for a drink, he has to leave to go and look after Barney, who is upset following an altercation with Avani at McKlunky’s. Will the two reschedule and try again?

Elsewhere next week, Nish causes some more problems for Suki and Eve, who are engaged to be married.

When Eve and Suki make plans to go to Yorkshire, Nish manipulates the situation so that Suki stays behind to see Tye instead.

While this initially causes issues between Suki and Eve, they later sort things out – much to Nish’s annoyance. What will he try next?
