WEDDING bells will be ringing out across Walford this winter as Elaine Peacock marries George Knight – but there’s someone important
missing. Soap bosses are currently filming the dramatic wedding episodes of the long-awaited nuptials and we’ve got the first look pictures.

A huge swathe of the BBC soap’s cast turned out to a church in Bushey near the studios this week to film the big soap wedding of the year.
Elaine actress Harriet Thorpe looked stunning in the landlady’s shimmering gold wedding gown.
Elaine’s intended, George Knight actor Colin Salmon wore a sand coloured suit matching with his best man Johnny Carter.
The rest of the Knight/Carter family were on hand for proceedings too with Linda Carter star Kellie Bright wearing a muted green dress.

Anna and Gina Knight stars Francesca Henry and Molly Rainford were also filming in dark green bridesmaid gowns.
While their on-screen mum, Cindy Beale star Michelle Collins also attended in full funeral black alongside Ian Beale actor Adam Woodyatt.
There was also a hint of the future with Molly’s character Anna’s cheating partner Freddie Slater there with actor Bobby Brazier pictured relaxing on a break from filming.
Junior Knight star Micah Balfour and Kojo Asare actor Dayo Koleosho spotted filming too.
And Johnny Carter and Callum Highway stars Charlie Suff and Tony Clay rounded out the family dynamics.
And it’s not just the Knight family in attendance with a huge number of EastEnders legends also in attendance.

Sharon Watts star Letitia Dean could be seen looking stunning in black while sharing a joke with Phil Mitchell actor Steve McFadden on a break from filming.
Jack Branning actor Scott Maslen and Denise Fox star Diane Parish were there with Penny Branning actress Kitty Castledine.
Yolande and Patrick Trueman stars Angela Wynter and Rudolph Walker were also spotted filming arm in arm as the happy couple.
Walford legends Gillian Taylforth and Tameka Empson were also spotted filming.
And even Jamie Borthwick was there filming, taking a break from his current Strictly Come Dancing training schedule.
A source said: “The BBC have clearly pushed the boat out for the wedding.
“These days its unheard of for even the big soap weddings to have large amounts of the cast filming on location but bosses have made it work.
