Two EastEnders legends look set to be after the same man in upcoming scenes as a love triangle begins to form.
Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) finds herself consumed with guilt next week after calling social services, and an ill-timed comment from Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) in the cafe drives her back home.
Viewers will know that Jean called social services after discovering that Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) had been hitting Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace).
Though Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) urges her to keep quiet about the call, Jean feels even worse when she spots a tense moment between Alfie Moon (Shane Richie), Kat and Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) on the Square.
Alfie assures Jean that she’s done the right thing, but things only get worse when Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) attempts to probe for more gossip, and Jean ends up accidentally offending Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho).
After such a bad day, Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) is desperate to cheer her up and, on advice from Kathy, plans to cook her a nice meal.
However, Jean chooses to eat with Kojo instead, to make up for her earlier mistake.
