A fiery Bonfire Night in Albert Square leads to an explosive showdown between Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) and Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) in EastEnders next week.
As viewers know, Bianca is desperate for answers concerning the death of Reiss’ comatose wife Debbie – something which her sister Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) has been wrongly accused of causing.
Despite heavily pregnant Son’ being sent down for it, the real culprit is her ‘grieving’ fiancé Reiss, who decided it was best to smother his ex-wife to avoid having to pay for any of her private care bills.
Debbie’s parents have become confused why he’s launched a campaign to free Sonia (unaware that his guilt has become an overwhelming concern), and at one point Bianca tried to force a confession out of him using alcohol.
When her dad David Wicks (Michael French) discovered what was happening, he forced Reiss to take some time away from the area – and he left to be closer to the prison.
In upcoming scenes, he returns home and discovers an incredibly hostile Bianca has made herself at home in his house.
Soon, Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) calls by with some ‘good’ news – his private investigator friend has recovered some CCTV from a warehouse nearby to the care home.
This would undoubtedly prove that Sonia was innocent, but unfortunately for Reiss it means that his guilt will also come to light.
Bianca is adamant that she gets her hands on it, but Reiss manages to slip his way out of it whilst he heads to the warehouse to watch the incriminating footage alone.
