The former couple shared a passionate kiss in Thursday’s episode after growing closer again over the past few days.
The dramatic events surrounding Whitney Dean’s departure from Walford have played a significant role in bringing Peter and Lauren together again.
Lauren has faced a bitter backlash on the Square for betraying Whitney when she slept with Zack Hudson. This storyline led to Whitney’s emotional exit, as Shona McGarty bowed out of EastEnders after 16 years.
