EastEnders’ Cindy Beale could be set for a surprise pregnancy twist after her rather saucy romp with Junior Knight.
The soap legend, played by Michelle Collins, made her epic return to Walford last year after 25 years off screen. Fans will recall that Cindy was supposedly killed off-screen in 1998.
But the fan-favourite never actually died in childbirth, as fans were told, and instead was put into witness protection and given a new identity, Rose Sawyer.
And in 2023, it was revealed that Cindy was actually alive and living in France, with her husband Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt). And in another huge twist, it turned out Cindy was the mother of Gina and Anna and ex-to George Knight (Colin Salmon) who had just moved to Walford.
Cindy and Ian eventually rocked back up to Albert Square and have settled in. But since her comeback, Cindy has caused plenty of drama – including kissing George.
And over in the soap this week, she ended up bonking none other than George’s estranged son Junior. Cindy and Junior got down and dirty at Beale’s Eels – leaving viewers watching at home gobsmacked.

Now, fans reckon a pregnancy twist is on the cards for Cindy – with viewers claiming the soap dropped a huge ‘clue.’
On a Reddit thread, one user mused: “Christmas story Cindy n b pregnant with baby Jr’s lol.” A second added: “What if she’s pregnant and we don’t know who the father is.”
Someone else claimed Cindy couldn’t get pregnant her age, to which another fan pointed out: “Sharon got pregnant late in life.”
Meanwhile on an EastEnders Facebook fan page, one user claimed the show dropped a ‘clue’ Cindy could be up the duff. During Wednesday’s episode (June 5) Cindy spoke to daughter Anna about suffering from period pains.
The eagle-eyes fan wrote: “ I previously joked that Cindy and Bianca would both be pregnant and Elaine wouldn’t believe it wasn’t George’s. And today!
“I couldn’t believe my ears when Anna said to Cindy about period pains hurting. (Words to that effect) Anyway it virtually implied Cindy may be pregnant.”
Over on X, fans also shared their thoughts that Cindy could be pregnant. One person said: “I’m still waiting on Cindy somehow becoming magically pregnant and not knowing if it’s George, junior, or ian’s baby. Good god.” A second wrote: “So we will have Bianca pregnant by George Jnr and now Cindy. Work you why through the square and have numerous kids.”
