Lucy runs into Faith at Crimson Lights and the two embrace as Lucy sobs. Faith gets her coffee and says she can’t imagine how devastating this is for her.
Lucy cries that she can’t believe her mom’s gone. She misses her. Your mom isn’t someone you think will leave you.
She wants to see her one more time to tell her how much she loves her. Faith asks about the case but Lucy knows nothing.
Faith thinks this is the hardest thing she’ll have to face but asks her not to drink.
Lucy admits she’s tempted but hasn’t had a drink. She abstained for her mom.
Lucy breaks into more tears thinking about the unfairness of it all. Faith gives her a pep talk to keep her alive in her heart.
Lucy knows but wonders who would hurt her and why! Lucy thanks Faith and hopes she can forgive her about the past.
Faith already has. Lucy has never had real friends and thinks Faith can tell she doesn’t know how to make them.
Her mom was her best and only friend. Faith holds Lucy’s hands as she cries.
Summer and Chance’s dinner at the Athletic Club is quiet. Summer points out the silence and he admits he’s frustrated with Heather’s case.
He wishes Daniel would let him search the apartment to find a lead or rule some things out. Like an affair.
The autopsy results won’t tell him much but they’re still canvassing the area.
Summer wishes she could help. Chance thinks she will by helping him face what comes next. Chance gets a text from Daniel who invites him over.
In the condo, Phyllis and Daniel discuss Heather’s case. He lets his mom know about Chance suggesting Heather had a lover.
